How do I make an invoice online for free?
Open the free invoice generator, add your business details and your client, enter the invoice number and dates, list each item with a quantity and rate, add tax or a discount if needed, and press Download PDF. There is no account, no watermark and no limit on how many you make.
Can I make a receipt without signing up?
Yes. Open the receipt generator, enter who paid, the amount, the date and the payment method, and download the PDF. Use it only for payments you have really received.
Does Invoicz add a watermark or a limit?
No. Every document is free, has no watermark and there is no cap on how many you can create.

Making a document
- Pick a document from the Tools menu (invoice, receipt, quote, estimate, proforma invoice, purchase order, sales order, credit note, timesheet, work order or packing slip).
- Fill in your details, your client’s details, the number and dates, and add items with a quantity and a rate.
- Add a discount, tax or shipping with the + links under the totals if you need them.
- Choose a layout (portrait or landscape) and a header color, check the live preview, and press Download PDF.
Adding your logo
Click the dashed Add logo box at the top left of the document and choose a PNG, JPG or WebP image up to 2 MB. It is resized in your browser and appears on the preview, the PDF and the print view. Use the small × to remove it.
Saving, history and where your data is stored
The form is not saved: every time you open or reload a page, or switch to another generator, it starts blank and any logo is gone. Nothing you type is sent to our servers. When you download or print a document, or press New document, a copy of the text (without the logo) is added to History in your own browser, where you can reopen or delete it. Clearing your browser data removes the History, and it is not available on other devices.
Downloading and printing
Download PDF creates the file in your browser and names it after your client, for example Awasi_Umar_invoice_12.pdf. Print opens your browser’s print dialog with the same layout; choose “Save as PDF” there if you prefer.
Language, currency and theme
Use the globe button in the header to change the language of the interface and of the document labels (16 languages). Choose the currency in the panel next to the document. The sun or moon button switches between light and dark theme. The invoice itself always stays white so it prints correctly.
Tax
Invoicz supports one tax line per document. Click + Tax, give it a name (sales tax, VAT, GST), enter the rate as a percentage or a fixed amount, and tick Prices include tax if your prices already contain it. Tax is applied after any discount and before shipping.
Troubleshooting
- The PDF does not download. Allow downloads for this site, check that your browser is up to date and try again. If it still fails, use Print and save as PDF.
- My draft is gone. The form is not saved when you reload or leave the page. Download your PDF first. Documents you downloaded can be reopened from History on the same device.
- The page looks different on my phone. On small screens the live preview sits under the document and the Download button stays at the bottom.
- Special characters. Latin, Cyrillic, Greek and Thai text is supported in PDFs. Arabic, Hebrew, Chinese, Japanese and Korean text is not supported yet.
