What is an invoice template?
An invoice template is a pre-built invoice layout with the sections already in the right places, so each time you bill a client you only change the details. It saves time and keeps every invoice looking the same, which makes you easier to pay.
What every invoice template should have
- The word "Invoice" and a unique invoice number.
- The issue date and the due date.
- Your name or business, address and contact details.
- The client's name and address.
- A table of items with description, quantity, rate and amount.

How to customize the template
